Abu Dhabi

According to the clock it is nearly 6am.  According to my body it is nearly lunch time.  According to my head it is time for a massage, which has been booked at the 6 Senses spa for 7am, thank you!

If you have to sit in a tin can for 14 hours, a lie flat bed is the way to do it.  Very impressed with Etihad Business Class -excellent service, nice food, wish there were a few more movies but at least I know how Harry Potter ends....

It was bumpy a lot of the way, and it felt like lying across the back seat of a car as it is driving through the mountains.  I didn't think I slept, but we were 10 hours in when I finally sat up.

We have seen nothing of Abu Dhabi except lines of straight roads from the air.

So far my sinuses are cooperating and we are pain free.  The next departure is at 8.20am, so it may be time for a quick recce of the shops.  Though I have to say that I was disappointed to fly half way around the world only to find that one airport looks pretty much like another.  

8 hours to London.  Cars 2 looks like the best option...
